Both local high school teams will be taking part in football scrimmages on Saturday and next Friday.
Westside will scrimmage at Concord University on Saturday. The Renegades take on Graham, Va., at 1 p.m. and PikeView at 2:20 p.m.
Wyoming East is at Greenbrier West on Saturday at 11 a.m.
East will host a scrimmage on Aug. 17.
Westside takes on Greenbrier West at 6 p.m., and East battles Tug Valley at 7 p.m.
The high school football season kicks off on Aug. 24.
