West Virginia’s Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management is hosting webinar applicant briefings for counties and cities affected by the severe storms which struck the state from June 29 to July 1.

The webinars will provide information about the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program and the FEMA Public Assistance program.

Webinars will be held on July 31 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and on August 1 at 2 p.m.

Officials encouraged to attend include auditors, public works directors, road supervisors and emergency managers.
