An 11-year-old Brenton child was struck by a car on Wednesday afternoon.

“There were two boys beside the road and one of them, a 16-year-old, allegedly made a gesture (at Morgan),” Aliff said.

Aliff reported that Morgan backed up “quickly” and struck the 11-year-old.

The child was airlifted to a Charleston hospital for treatment.
