Josephine Acord Morgan Josephine Acord Morgan, 80, passed away at Welch Community Hospital, Wednesday, June 6, 2012, following a long illness. A lifelong resident of Wyoming County, Josephine was born February 8, 1932 in Clear Fork, W.Va., a daughter of the late Valentine Acord and Margie Wright Acord. A celebration of Josephine’s life was held 1 p.m., Friday, June 8, 2012, in the Evans Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Eddie Bee Aliff officiating. Evans Funeral Home of Oceana, is serving the Morgan family.


Dallas Mullens


PINEVILLE — Dallas Mullens, 71, of Pineville, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2012, in Bowers Hospice House, Beckley, following a short illness. Born Feb. 1, 1941, at Pineville, he was the son of Bertha Lambert Mullens of New Richmond and the late Bill Mullens. In keeping with Dallas’ wishes, he will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Calfee Funeral and Cremation Service of Pineville is serving the Mullens family.


Debra ‘Debbie’ Brown Toler


Debra “Debbie” Brown Toler, 52, of Daniels, formerly of Pineville, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2012, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born June 22, 1959, in Pineville, she was the daughter of the late Joseph “Joe Bill” and Beatrice Cook Brown. A celebration of Debbie’s life was held 11 a.m. Monday, June 4, 2012, at Calfee Funeral Service Chapel, Pineville, with Billy Joe Copper, Pastor Kevin Francis and Pastor Merle Walls officiating. Calfee Funeral and Cremation Service of Pineville is serving the Toler family.
