New PES probably won’t open in August
The new PIneville Elementary School probably won’t be ready in time to open in August, the Wyoming County Board of Education learned last Thursday. Over $500,000 found in safe
Police found over half a million dollars in a safe they confiscated from the home of Delbert Lester of McGraws last week. Lester was arrested on May 9 and charged with eight counts of delivery of a controlled substance. Officers seized $10,000 in cash, 400 pills and 70 weapons at the time. Saulsville man charged with mother’s murder
A Saulsville man has been charged with his mother’s murder. Josh May, 30, is accused of killing his mother, 63-year-old Sandra May, on Monday morning. Wyoming County Sheriff Randall Aliff said police were called at approximately 9 a.m. and, whe they arrived at the scene, found that May had locked himself inside the Bowers Ridge residence. Sheriff’s Department gets tasers
Officers in the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Department are being trained to use tasers—and have also learned how it feels to get tased.
