A welcome sign will be unveiled on the Route 54 entrance to Wyoming County on Thursday at 11 a.m.

The 7.5 ton stone sign is a project of the Wyoming County Reaching the Summit Community Service Initiative.

This is a demonstration project for July 2013, when thousands of Boy Scouts will be doing community service projects in nine southern West Virginia counties during the National Jamboree in Fayette County.
