Power has been fully restored to Wyoming County, according to Appalachian Power.
The company’s Web site shows the number of customers without power in the county now at zero.
Emergency Services Director Dead Meadows says he still has concerns about possible thunderstorms coming through the area.
“Even though the heat wave has passed, the weather is still unstable and that is a concern,” he commented.
The number without power reached nearly 7,900 last Thursday evening after thunderstorms rolled through. That number has dropped rapidly ever since.
Not everyone is in the clear. Raleigh County still has over 2,000 without power and Kanawha County has over 6,000 without electricity.
