Mullens masons celebrate a century

The Mullens Masonic Lodge No. 151 AF & AM celebrated its 100th anniversary in November.


On November 12, 2016 Mullens Masonic Lodge #151 AF&AM celebrated its 100th year anniversary by its members. The lodge was chartered by the Grand Lodge of West Virginia on November 16, 1916.

A meal was prepared and served by Jason’s Country Corner of Saulsville. After the meal, Worshipful Master Jerry Woodrum thanked everyone who attended and shared memories of the lodge. Then, other members spoke about the history of the lodge, its past masters and the brotherhood of the lodge.

To celebrate this special occasion, cups, shirts and a special coin were sold to masonic members.

The special masonic coin had one side designed by one of the Lodge members, Johnny Musser.

Those in attendance were: several members, past masters and a few 50yr members.

Mullens Masonic Lodge #151 AF&AM meets at 7 p.m. on the first and third Monday of each month for any masonic brother who would like to attend. It is Located at 210 Moran Ave Mullens.
